Lawyer. Veteran. Community Leader.
Attorney Peter Glennon draws on his unique combination of business insight and legal experience to help today’s business leaders avoid problems, resolve disputes, and protect their assets.
Formerly a litigator with Nixon Peabody LLP, Peter has extensive litigation experience in state and federal courts, as well as in administrative venues, including matters such as:
Peter served as a law clerk for the Honorable Elizabeth W. Pine, Associate Justice of the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department, and as an extern law clerk to the Honorable David R. Homer, Federal Magistrate, Northern District of New York.
With more than 24 years of military service, Peter is a former Deputy Staff Judge Advocate and served as a Squadron Commander, where he oversaw all the business operations of a military logistics center—a role that included managing a staff of more than 100 enlisted airmen at its peak. This unique business perspective helps him understand the demands facing today’s business owners and executives.
However, it is Peter’s genuine commitment to service and creating successful outcomes for clients that makes him an ideal advocate both inside and outside the courtroom. Peter is co-founder and chairman of Honor Flight Rochester, a non-profit organization that provides complimentary trips for World War II and other veterans to Washington, D.C. to tour their memorials. In addition, he is president-elect of the Rochester Rotary, and will serve as president for 2020-2021.
Peter has been recognized repeatedly in Best Lawyers in America® and in Super Lawyers®. He previously was recognized by the Rochester Business Journal as a 40 Under 40 lawyer and is a member of the Monroe County and American Bar Associations. Peter lives in Pittsford with his wife and four children.
